We’re working on a remodel at 2913 Stivers in Bryant, Arkansas. This has been a fun project because we were able to tear out some cabinetry that really opened up the floorplan. The new interior paint, Agreeable Grey from Sherwin Williams, created a new look throughout the house. And, we did a gorgeous update on the fireplace that I will be featuring in a future blog post, so stay tuned for that!

Problem Area

We create new landscape designs on many of our projects, but this house has a unique problem. The front has a ceiling-to-floor bay window in one area. There’s an existing landscape bed in front of it, but there’s not much in there now. We want to keep the view open, so trees and bushes that we often use in other landscape designs won’t work in this bed.

Plus, we wanted to design that bed where it would have some color in different seasons. That’s easier in the southern region of the US where we live and work – Arkansas – than it is for our neighbors to the north. Here are some ideas we’ve come up with so far.

What Do You Think?

And, I love this landscape design above using all these elements. What do you think? Wouldn’t these be beautiful in a landscape bed outside a bay window of your home?
