Reading is Fundamental!

This is Roger, writing for a change, giving Judy a day off. For those of you who know me, you probably know that I love to read. I read things to increase my knowledge, as well as to grow myself as a human being. I read and/or listen to two to four books per week. (I’m a big fan of Audible to redeem my time as I run around in the car looking at properties. That’s how I’m able to absorb that many books in a week, with an otherwise busy schedule.)

After reading lots of books over the past few years, I have a favorite author, Robert Kiyosaki. I read Robert Kiyosaki’s book, Rich Dad Poor Dad, for the first time two or three years ago. I loved the book, and I’ve recommended it to dozens of people since then. But, it wasn’t until the past several months that I started reading his other books. I realized there were thirteen in that series alone. I’ve read most of them at least once, and some I read monthly. Yes, they are that good! In fact, if you read to learn and then implement what you read, they are life changing. I’ve experienced that firsthand.

So, if you haven’t already, read Rich Dad Poor Dad, grab the book at a bookstore, on your Kindle, or on Audible as soon as possible. If you’ve read that one, move on to the next one in the series, Rich Dad’s Cashflow Quadrant. You can thank me later!

I’d love to hear your thoughts. Feel free to comment and, I promise, I’ll enter into the discussion. I’d also love to hear your book recommendations. What do you recommend? And, if you’d like to grab a cup of coffee to chat, I’m available for that, too.
